during your visit to Koh Tao or interested in continuing your PADI education, the PADI Scuba Review Refresher program
is the perfect start to your scuba vacation.
To enrol on the PADI Scuba Review Refresher program you must be a certified diver with a recognised training organisation.
In the PADI Scuba Review you will refresh not only your safety skills, but will get an opportunity to adjust your trim and buoyancy control.
Once your skills are up to date you will find yourself more relaxed with better trim and control and most likely using less air!
PADI SCUBA REVIEW REFRESHER
– KOH TAO –
To be covered for diving activities by insurance, generally every non-professional diver with less than 60 dives will require proof of a dive within the last 6 months or a Refresher Training.
Part 1 : Theory
There isn’t that much theory to review in our Scuba Review. You will answer a short questionnaire which mainly focuses on a review of safety procedures and techniques.
We will also review the way to safely plan our dives and the usage of a dive computer, as all your dives will be using a FREE dive computers.
Part 2 : Confined Water Session
To start off our review, we will look at refreshing your knowledge on equipment setup and Predive Safety Checks before we head into the pool.
The skills we are going to cover in the pool include the following areas:
– Entries & Exits
– Airway Control (Regulator Recovery, Free Flow-Regulator-Breathing)
– Mask skills (Mask Removal & Replacement, No Mask Swimming)
– Out-of-Air skills (use of Alternate Air Sources & Ascents, C.E.S.A, BCD oral inflation)
– Buoyancy skills (Fin Pivot, Hovering, Buoyancy and trim checks)
– Equipment removal (on the surface and underwater, emergency weight drop on the surface)

Minimum Certification
To take part in our Crystal Dive Scuba Review, you will have to have an entry-level certification as a PADI (Junior) Scuba Diver (or equivalent certification from another agency)

The minimum age for the Scuba Review is 10 years.
Medical Statement
You need to be medically fit for diving. You will find the Medical Statement for Scuba Diving here to download. If in doubt, please check with your physician or ask us before booking your dive experience with us.
Our Underwater Videography team is available to provide you with personal and lasting memories of your experience and offer unique underwater video and photo services for your course. You can choose from a 10-minute land and underwater based video or 35 high-resolution photographs.
